Role: Pre-Sales Manager APAC

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative, and fast growing technology company in the field of Sports Production who is looking to recruit a Pre-Sales Manager APAC to work closely with the Regional Sales Director APAC to drive new business sales revenues across the region.

This person will be responsible for managing the technical relationship with all existing and potential new clients which will include Sports Rights Holders, Sports Agencies, OTT Portals/Platforms, Federations, Leagues, Clubs, Colleges, and high schools.   

We are looking for a profile who has an autonomous mindset and a can-do attitude.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Have intimate knowledge of our products, services, and architecture
  • Serve as a primary technical contact for customers and partners in the region
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Director in responding to RFx
  • Present company solutions in front of a technical and business audiences (demos)
  • Install, calibrate and demonstrate the product
  • Train partners to ensure the highest level of professionalism
  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Organize technical feedback from the partners/customers
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on overall customer progress and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Product teams for future product enhancements

Requirements

  • Prior experience working as either a Pre-Sales Engineer; Product Specialist; or Solutions Architect in the Broadcast or Sports Media industries
  • Candidate should be fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. Working knowledge in Thai or Bahasa is advantageous
  • Prior experience in presales of Production and/or Streaming services is required
  • Must know how to install video production systems (Orad, Avid, EVS)
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Technical knowledge in Video broadcasting, webcasting and Computer Networking
  • Experience working in a pressure-filled environment on simultaneous initiatives
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong technical background with demonstrated presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel in the region (50%)
