A unique opportunity to join a well respected and market leading technology vendor within the Broadcast and Production industries, who after multiple years of growth across the Middle East is now looking to recruit a new Regional Sales Manager role in Qatar. This role will be a combination of account management and new business sales, working closely with both local resellers and systems integrators in selling to Broadcasters, Content Owners, and Production companies in Qatar.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for sales and profit contribution of the customer accounts
  • Support key accounts and conduct contract negotiations as well as generating new business by managing and developing current customers (broadcasters, content owners, sports rights holders, post-production companies) and new clients within these segments
  • Engage with customers at C-Level across multiple stakeholders discussing ROI, customer business strategy, revenues, and cost base
  • Working with large, complex accounts using solution selling processes and methodology to present your ideas
  • Provide regular reporting and feedback to senior management to communicate actual sales performance and monitor pipeline opportunities
  • Work closely with internal product, marketing, project, and development teams to implement findings from market and competitive analysis
  • Represent the company at local and international tradeshows (CABSAT, IBC, NAB)

Key experience required:

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a solutions sales environment
  • Excellent contact network with Broadcasters, Content Owners, Production and Post Production companies in Qatar
  • An understanding of broadcast technologies and workflows, including cloud-based media technologies, Video platforms, Ingest, Production, Archiving, Newsrooms and Storage
  • Passion and enthusiasm for the Media industries
  • Well versed in the solution selling process and its methodology
  • Proven experience in managing large, complex accounts at a senior level
  • Excellent strategic planning and reporting skills
  • Strong communication skills
