Streamstar is an established technology company specialising in quality, innovative software and hardware tools for the streaming video industry, who are looking to recruit a Director of Sales and Business Development.

A crucial hire for the business, Streamstar is looking for a candidate who is comfortable winning new business sales opportunities themselves, as well as building and managing an international sales team.

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated with proven managerial experience, and an outstanding sales track record in the broadcast and sports media industries. Excellent communication skills, exceptional negotiation and leadership qualities are a must.

Duties:

  • Overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team
  • Tracking sales goals and achieving both individual and team sales targets
  • Building and motivating the sales team
  • Designing strategic sales plans
  • Market and Competitive analysis
  • Creating sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiating contracts with potential clients
  • In coordination with our marketing department working on leads generation

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets
  • Meeting both individual and company annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers (at C Level and below) to grow customer loyalty
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of existing and prospective clients
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
  • Working closely with the marketing department to oversee initiatives,
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees
  • Act as Streamstar ambassador at Industry events and tradeshows (NAB, IBC, SVG Europe)

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales and Business Development track record in the Broadcast and Sports Media Technology industries
  • Experience managing and leading a sales team
  • Good technical understanding of br
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Be proactive, self-motivated
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics or related field
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel
